Montgomery Cloverdale Playhouse – Montgomery, Alabama

Blackburn Daniels O’Barr, Inc. donated structural engineering services to this project that turned the beautiful church at the corner of Cloverdale Road and Fairview Avenue into a state-of-the-art multipurpose music, lecture, and theater facility to bring live theatre and the performing arts community back to downtown Montgomery. Structural observations were performed to determine if the old church structure would be feasible for auditorium platform seating. In addition, new ramps and a stairway were added for greater accessibility.
